Hello!

Thank you very much for your interest in becoming a Starworks Ambassador!

What is the Starworks Ambassador scheme?
Here at Starworks we want to help improve the lives of children who use prosthetics, and their families. One of the best ways we can do this is to listen and understand what is important to the real experts in this area – that’s you! Whenever children and young people help us we think it’s important to recognise and reward their hard work, so we have set up the Starworks Ambassador scheme!

How does the Starworks Ambassador scheme work?
[Please note, the Starworks Ambassador scheme is largely running digitally/online in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Further details are available at the end of this page.]
  1. Collect your passport: Once you have registered, we will send you a special Starworks Passport ready to start your Ambassador journey.
  2. Start earning stickers: We will get in touch with you or your parents/carers whenever there is an opportunity to take part in an Ambassador Activity. These can be all sorts of things, including online surveys, competitions, feedback on existing inventions, or even special Starworks workshops! Every Ambassador Activity that you take part in will earn you a Star sticker to go in your passport, and you can take part in as many or as few as you like.
  3. Claim your reward: Once you have filled your passport with Star stickers, we will send you a Starworks Ambassador certificate and vouchers to say thank you!
  4. Level up! If you’d like to keep taking part, we can set you up on the next level of passports to keep earning stickers and rewards!

The Ambassador scheme is open to children or young people who use a prosthetic and/or who have a limb difference, as well as their siblings! If you would like to register more than one child or young person to the Ambassador scheme, please complete a separate registration form for each Ambassador.

Response to Covid-19 Pandemic
Activities
Until now, many of the Starworks activities have happened in person, and we have loved meeting so many fantastic families! We look forward to hosting many more events in the future, and in the meantime, we have lots of fun activities planned to help the Ambassador network grow without the need for direct contact.

We will continue to update and adapt our approaches according to the latest government advice.

Passports
We have switched to a digital passport system in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Every time you earn a sticker, we will send you a new, updated digital passport as a PDF or a .jpeg file. When you complete your first passport, we will send you your Starworks Ambassador certificate and vouchers in digital form.

If it is difficult for you to access digital files in this way, please let us know the best way to contact you in the box below, and we will try our best to find a safe, convenient way for you to take part in the Ambassador scheme. Otherwise, please feel free to continue to the next page.
