Welcome to our Expression of Interest form for the Bright Green Homes project.
As part of the government’s Green Homes Grant Scheme, Bristol City Council’s Energy Service has funding available to improve the energy efficiency of your home through the Bright Green Homes project. Whether you own your home, or you’re a landlord or tenant, we may be able to help!
Do you have a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
Rating? Funding is available to homes with a G, F, E or D rating* and under £30,000 overall household income. (please note: While EPC Rating D is eligible to receive funded measures, we are currently working through the lowest rated EPCs first and will review all D rated properties last. This is a requirement of our funder.)
Funding is available to residents of Bristol and North Somerset until the end of September (registration ends July 31st, 2021), for the installation of underfloor insulation and Solar PV. This could mean up to £10,000 of energy saving measures, completely free! The team will also help identify any other free and low-cost energy saving options your home may need to help you save more on your energy bills!
On top of this, we also have funding to help towards the cost of Loft and Cavity wall insulation.
We ask everyone interested to complete this short questionnaire and one of the of the team will be in touch within 2-3 working days. We’ll ask you to complete some forms and once they’re returned, we’ll begin our eligibility checks. The team aim to have confirmed eligibility within 3 working days at which point we’ll let you know the next steps!
*Please still apply if your property doesn’t currently have an EPC. We can arrange for a pre-install EPC after checking you meet the financial eligibility criteria of the Green Homes Grant.
You can contact the team at email@example.com with any questions. If you feel you may not meet the criteria above but are interested in improving your homes efficiency, please do get in touch as we may be able to advise of other energy saving projects and schemes available to you.
