The Council’s Highlight Priorities for 2022/23

The Council is inviting comments on which schemes, projects and activities it should particularly focus on in 2022/23.  It is your chance to have your say and the views received by 19 January will be submitted to the Council’s Cabinet on 28 January 2022.

Some initial thoughts for schemes, projects and activities to concentrate on in 2022/23 are set out below.  These have been put forward by the Cabinet to help local discussion.  So your views could change the items to be focussed on.

The Council has a document called a Corporate Plan.  The current Corporate Plan covers 2020 to 2024 and has the following themes:
  • Delivering High Quality Services
  • Building Sustainable Communities for the Future
  • Strong Finance and Governance
  • A Growing and Inclusive Economy
  • Community Leadership through Partnerships
The Corporate Plan can be viewed using this link: TDC Corporate Plan 2020-24

The initial thoughts for schemes, projects and activities the Council should particularly focus on in 2022/23 are grouped by the appropriate theme within the Corporate Plan.

What follows are six main questions; one for each of the Corporate Plan themes that refer to the initial thoughts for schemes, projects and activities the Council should particularly focus on in 2022/23.  Then there is a final question about things you might not be clear which theme the scheme, project or activity fits under.  We will also ask you a few questions so we know who to contact if we need to check something out afterwards.

It’s time to have your say.
