We would like to invite you to take part in our study. Before you decide we would like you to understand why the research is being done and what it would involve for you.

What is the purpose of the study?
The aim of this study is to explore how and why perceptions of climate change have changed in the UK. Primary data collected via this survey will be compared to existing data from the European Perception of Climate Change Project carried out by Cardiff University in 2016/2017.
Who is doing this research and why?
This study is part of a Student research project supported by Loughborough University and will be carried out by Bethany Mosley, supervised by Sarah Mills.
Are there any exclusion criteria?
You must be over the age of 18 and should have lived within the UK for at least 5 years to take part in this study.
What will I be asked to do?
You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire.
Once I take part, can I change my mind?
After you have read this information and asked any questions you may have we will ask you to proceed to answer the questionnaire. After you have submitted your answers, if you wish to withdraw your answers from the study please contact us. However, once the results of the study has been submitted, it may not be possible to withdraw your individual data from the research.
How long will it take?
The questionnaire should take between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
