We’re committed to making active travel a safer and convenient choice for our residents. These proposed improvements were shaped by earlier input into the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP), which sets out our walking and cycling networks to be developed.
The Council has been progressing designs and we are now asking for your comments on the proposals.
Here’s what’s being proposed:
- New footways and existing footways widened
- Extensions and upgrades to cycle routes
- New pedestrian and cycle paths, crossings and removal of barriers
