Welcome to the Global Grad Show proposal submission portal. Please follow the steps and fill in the details to complete your submission. Once completed, we will review your proposal(s) and get back to you with any questions. The selection of projects is an ongoing process and the closing date for submissions is July 1, 2019.

General FAQ's: Who and what
What is the criteria?
The applications are open to all disciplines in design, architecture, computer science, science, engineering and technology. We are looking for solutions that are:
  • Innovative: New ideas that are not currently available.
  • Positive: projects that can make a positive impact to the world.
  • Globally applicable: projects that are created for a specific context, but relevant around the world.
​Working prototypes and models are highly preferred. You may visit our online archive for example projects that were featured in previous editions. 
Who can submit a proposal?
Proposals can be submitted by individual graduates or by university departments.
How many proposals can I submit?
  • Individual graduates may submit 1 proposal per form.
  • Universities may submit multiple proposals per form.
There is no limit to the number of proposals a university or an individual may submit, however, the ultimate decision on which projects are accepted is decided by Global Grad Show's curatorial team.
Are you applying as a university or an individual graduate? 


How do I submit a proposal?
1. Complete the electronic form. 
2. Upload your proposal(s) in PDF format outlining the following elements: 
  • Name and contact details of graduate 
  • Project name 
  • Explanation of the project (at least 1 paragraph long).  
  • Any supplementary materials that help visualize and explain the project.
    • Illustrations and diagrams.
    • Photos of how the project was displayed in previous exhibitions.
    • Links to videos or online demos (if available).

I submitted my proposal. Does this mean that my participation is confirmed?
This means that you are a step closer to participating in Global Grad Show. The Global Grad Show curatorial team will review your proposal(s) and confirm whether or not it has been selected to feature in Global Grad Show by mid-August.
Do I need to be in Dubai for the show?
Yes, we require that a representative graduate is present during the exhibition dates, (November 10 -16, 2019) to set-up and present the project to the visitors.
