Adur and Worthing Councils are working with other partners to help prevent and manage any local covid-19 outbreaks.
We need to strengthen our networks of local organisation and people so that we can help to prevent the spread of covid-19 and protect communities by:
- Helping to share any information from us through local networks
- Identifying others that are trusted within communities that can also help
- Helping us to understand how we can be effective in delivering these messages (including languages)
We are especially keen to ensure that we reach groups across all of our communities including those that may be more at risk of this disease.
How we will use your personal data
We will be using this data to assist our efforts in communication, in relation to covid-19 outbreaks.
This will include being contacted to assist with messaging about communications, and will be used in the event of rising levels of covid-19, and any outbreaks, to help us reach communities.
This is for the purposes of helping communities to be more aware and to take preventive measures to reduce and prevent the risk of further spreading the virus
We will hold this information securely and only named staff will have access to this.
The information collected will be kept for as long as necessary for managing Covid-19 outbreaks within the area, and will be permanently and securely deleted within 1 month of the end of the pandemic, as determined by the World Health Organisation
