For some, pushing themselves to complete a marathon is a once-in-a-lifetime ambition, whereas for others, year-on-year they put their fitness to the test by pounding the streets for an immense 26.2-mile race. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a first timer, the moment of glory as you cross the finish line is as spectacular each and every time.

At the British Dyslexia Association we are proud to be able to offer a limited number of guaranteed entry places in the 2024 London Marathon which will be held on Sunday 21 April.

The British Dyslexia Association is the voice of dyslexic people, working to build a society that supports the challenges associated with dyslexia. We aim to influence government and other institutions in order to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages and from all backgrounds to reach their full potential.
Due to the limited number of places, we ask anyone who is interested in taking part to fill out this application form, including as much detail as possible. Please include your motivations for taking part and how you plan to raise the minimum £1,500 sponsorship pledge.

If you are successful and offered a charity place, we ask all runners to pay a £100 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £1,500 in sponsorship. Please note, you will need to be aged 18 or over on race day, to take part. Once registered, you are required to complete a separate online registration form with the London Marathon event organisers.

If you have any questions about the event please get in touch with us at fundraising@bdadyslexia.org.uk and we would be happy to help.
