We are looking into inequalities in musculoskeletal health services in the UK. We want to know if some people find it harder to get the treatment they need and if so, what might help.
Musculoskeletal conditions include everything that affects bones, joints or muscles. For example, back pain and all forms of arthritis, as well as conditions like gout, fibromyalgia, Axial Spondyloarthritis, hypermobility syndromes, scleroderma, Raynaud's, etc.
For a variety of reasons some people find it harder than others to get treatment for their conditions. We want to understand why this is and what would make a difference to people who currently don’t get what they need.
