The Korea Women's Basketball Federation (WKBL) announced on the 31st that a total of 10 teams will participate in the 2023 Woori Bank Park Shin-ja Cup, which will be held at Cheongju Gymnasium from the 26th of next month to September 3rd. In this tournament, not only six clubs from the WKBL but also four overseas invited teams will compete in the Park Shin-ja Cup. Japan's Eneos Sunflower and Toyota Antelope, Australia's Bendigo Spirit, and the Philippine women's national team will compete in the Park Shin-ja Cup.

WKBL plans to upgrade the Park Shin-ja Cup to an international competition and continue to expand the size of the competition. The plan is to go one step further from the goal of finding promising players and strengthen international competitiveness.
