Norfolk and Waveney STP - Draft 10 Year Adult Mental Health Strategy Feedback

1. Throughout October and November 2018, Norfolk and Waveney’s Sustainability and Transformation Partnership gathered feedback from a wide audience of communities, families, people that use mental health services, health care professionals, support organisations and stakeholders to understand how mental health services for adults were performing locally.
The aim of this project was to develop a holistic, long term strategy for commissioning, coordinating and providing mental health services in Norfolk and Waveney. This strategy would define a 10 year vision for how the local health system needs to develop to meet the current and future mental health needs of the population.

More than 2,000 people have participated and given their views about adult mental health services in Norfolk and Waveney, including attending three events across the area. Reports from these events are available on the Healthwatch Norfolk website.

We have taken all of the feedback provided to create a draft 10 year strategy for adult mental health services in Norfolk and Waveney. You can download and read the draft strategy here:

We want to give everyone the opportunity to read the draft strategy, provide comment on what it has identified as priorities, and suggest areas that need development. Your anonymous feedback is very important to us, as it will refine our draft 10-year strategy to outline how we can best deliver and develop local adult mental health services in the future. Once submitted, your comments and feedback will not be shared on a wider basis. Your responses will be confidential and we will not collect identifying information such as your name or IP address. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format.
