Call the police on 999 in an emergency, such as when:
o A crime is in progress such as unauthorised works and/or damage (i.e. demolition or destruction, damage, removing, alterations, flooding, tipping or metal detecting)
o Someone suspected of a crime is nearby
o There is a danger to life or property
o Violence or threatening behaviour is involved
Call the police on 101 or go online to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response, such as:
o When property has been stolen or damaged and the suspect is no longer at the scene
o If you suspect unlawful metal detecting is happening on a non scheduled site without land owners' permission
o To give the police information about crime or anti-social behaviour in your area
101 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

o You could receive a reward of up to £1,000 if the information you provide leads to the arrest and charge of at least one person.

This form should be used when the incident involves:
- Damage to historic stone/masonry
- Man made holes from digging
- Fires that have caused damage to the historic fabric
- Graffiti on historic fabric
- Tipping
