WKBL (Korea Women's Basketball Federation) will hold the 2023 Woori Bank Park Shin-ja Cup at Cheongju Gymnasium from August 26 to September 3.

The participating teams will have 10 teams, the largest number ever. In addition to six WKBL clubs, four overseas invited teams, including Japan, Australia and the Philippines, were included. Overseas teams will also participate the most since the establishment of the Park Shin-ja Cup in 2015.

Eneos Sunflower, who has won the W League for 11 consecutive years, and Toyota Antelope, the runner-up in last season's regular league and championship games, will represent Japan, while Australia's WNBL member Bendigo Spirit will also visit Korea. In addition, the Philippine women's national basketball team, which faced Korea at the Asian Cup in June, also confirmed its participation in the Park Shin-ja Cup.

The name and emblem of the competition have also been changed. The name will be changed from the existing "Park Shin-ja Cup Summer League" to "Park Shin-ja Cup," and it will be held in the form of an international competition in which a large number of key players from each team participate in the competition to find promising players. 토토사이트

Each team will be divided into two groups to play in the preliminary round, and the first and second place in each group will advance to the semifinals. The prize money has also increased from 10 million won to 30 million won.

Admission to this competition is possible through separate ticket reservations, and all reserved seats are available. Information related to ticket reservation will be announced separately later.

WKBL plans to upgrade the Park Shin-ja Cup to an international competition and continue to expand the size of the competition to strengthen international competitiveness.
