Collaborating From a Home Studio
1. Qualitative Questionnaire - Remote Collaboration from within a Home Studio
The purpose of this research questionnaire is to gather individual perspectives of experiences in using a home studio to collaborate with other users. The aim of this research study is to gain a better understanding of the respondents honest thoughts and feelings about the home studio and how it may potentially affect their collaborative efforts with others as well as their own creative process. There appears to be no physical or psychological risks as a result of participating in the study.
The questionnaire isn't limited to any specific answering duration or time frame. Instead, the respondent is encouraged to give their honest opinions when answering each question and to respond is as much depth as they would like with an emphasis on elaborating their answers as much as they can. The data collected from this questionnaire will be used for educational and research purposes only and will be implemented as part of the researcher's dissertation analysis. The default position of this research study is that the respondent will be guaranteed anonymity unless it is absolutely clear and in writing that the respondent would like or wouldn't mind to reveal their identity.
The participant has a right to remain anonymous in publication of the research and confidentiality will be maintained except in exceptional circumstances where harm may arise to the participant or someone associated with the research or participant. Refusal to participate in the study will not result in any consequences. The respondent has the right to withdraw or opt-out of the study at any time as well as being able to withdraw their data by 10am on the 12th September 2019. All data collected from participants will be destroyed by January 2020. The participation of the respondent is strictly voluntary and that a refusal to participate will not result in any consequences or any loss of benefits that the respondent is otherwise entitled to receive.
If the respondent would like to contact the researcher regarding any questions or queries, they can do so using the following details:
