South Tyneside Cultural Strategy - Public Consultation
South Tyneside Council are consulting about a new Cultural Strategy. Culture plays an important role in enhancing the lives of every person who lives, works, or visits the South Tyneside. The strategy will be a vital tool in helping to rebuild our communities, with the consultation enabling the Council to look to the future and build on the success of 10 years of sustained investment.
The new Cultural Strategy will set out the important role of Culture in the vision for South Tyneside and how the cultural sector can be supported to recover from the effect of the COVID pandemic and become more sustainable. In preparation for the new Cultural Strategy, a programme of consultation is taking place with stakeholders, artists, creatives, community groups, and the public
This questionnaire is your opportunity to contribute to the development of the Culture Strategy.
For the purpose of this questionnaire the meaning of Culture is focused on the arts, crafts, heritage, music, theatre, performance, creative industries, and creative and cultural activity within South Tyneside.
