Ward Panel Members Survey November 2019

Ward Panels play an important role in our Safer Neighbourhoods strategy. They allow representatives from the local community to tell us about local crime and disorder concerns which in turn allows the SN Teams to collaboratively establish priorities that are intended to match those community concerns.

The Metropolitan Police Service is also committed to working with academics, industry, private and public sector experts to develop a stronger understanding of the effect and impact of race upon public confidence in the MPS.  This will enable the MPS to implement bespoke research initiatives to improve any negative public perception and deliver an equitable service across London's diverse communities.

The objectives of our inclusion strategy are to:
  • Make the Met more reflective of the city we serve
  • Develop our culture, behaviour and internal processes
  • Reduce inequalities in our interactions with Londoners
To effectively measure representation across our ward panel members and the communities you represent we gratefully request that you complete this short survey, which will assist us to improve our current methods of engagement.

The survey is split into 2 sections of questions surrounding you and the diversity of communities you represent.

This should take no more than 2 minutes to complete.
