What is a Residence Welfare Lead (RWL)?

Residences Welfare Leads are voluntary workers who support students with any welfare concerns from the hours 8pm – 6am, on a rota basis throughout the full week. They live in each of our Residences to provide a wellbeing support service to all residents within their Hall. As a Residences Welfare Lead, you will actively help residents to settle in and cope with life at the University and independent living in halls.

The application form has been designed to assess your suitability for the role based on the RWL role descriptions, which we strongly suggest you review prior to completing this application to maximise your chances of being shortlisted.
