Cohousing needs survey

Welcome!

We are seeking to understand the housing needs of people who are interested in living in cohousing in Brighton and Hove.

Cohousing is a form of community living. Cohousing communities are intentional communities, created and run by their residents. Each household has a self-contained, private home as well as shared community space. Residents come together to manage their community, share activities, and regularly eat together. You can read more about cohousing here.

Brighton & Hove Community Land Trust and Sussex Cohousing would very much appreciate your input through the survey below. If you have already responded to the Sussex Cohousing survey there is no need to respond to this one, which is very similar.

Part of what we need to know is the level of affordable housing we need to supply and whether households might meet local council affordable housing criteria, so some of the questions are about what people can afford. This information will be used anonymously. The answers you give will be bunched with others to give us an overall picture of what people want.

The survey may take 15-20 minutes to complete. All the questions are optional, but please answer as fully as you can. If you don't have all the information to hand, you can pause and come back to it using the link at the bottom of each page.

Thank you for taking part.
