Jaywick Martello Tower is one of the many amazing places cared for by the Explore Essex team at Essex County Council. Our popular Spring and Autumn Talks and Creative Net workshops have been a consistent feature of the Jaywick Martello Tower programme .The illustrated talks last no more than an hour and we are lucky enough to have had captivating talks from local and national historians and wildlife experts. Our artist-led, creative workshops have ranged from painting to textiles and from poetry to Christmas wreath making, giving people the chance to create their own artworks. As access to the tower is currently limited due to social distancing restrictions we are looking at the best way to move this programme online temporarily. It will really help with planning if we can understand how people like to use the internet and what support they might need. Please help us out by filling in this short survey.
