This is an exploratory survey to see what interest there is in the concept of an Occupational Therapy 'Connect' platform similar to the Human Library work.
Here is a link to the website for the Human Library https://humanlibrary.org/

This gives an idea of the concept, but is a taster only, of how an Occupational Therapy 'Connect' (Human Library) may work.

The Human Library Concept
The idea of the OT 'Connect' is to give Occupational Therapy staff & students the opportunity to talk/canvas/share their ideas with like-minded or people with diverse thoughts, lives and careers.
This offers the chance to discuss, question, confirm thoughts and ideas, and to gain support, encouragement and inspiration.
In the pure sense of OT Connect, it is non-judgemental, it is for the 'Questioner/Borrower' to take from the conversation what they want, and for the Author/Book to offer the generosity of their Story/Contribution.
Method of interaction may be via Zoom/Teams/WhatsApp, email or phone. This is a point for discussion.
There is no intention for this to be an on-going relationship unless it is agreed by both parties.
Anonymity is not guaranteed.
