Can you help Bruntsfield parent community and parent forum rebuild activities, improve engagement and work with the school to drive opportunities for our children?
Please add your email address and we will arrange an information session in early August 2021.

Which areas of the parent forumactivities would you be keen to help shape?
This list is not exhaustive and examples are shown to give you some ideas of what each area might involve. Some of these areas may overlap.
Wrap around (breakfast and after school club) provision - (for example working with Kidzcare, Skool is Out and Bruntsfield St. Oswalds)
Broader Bruntsfield engagement (for example with residents, traders and other local groups including Community Councils, Eric Liddell Centre and St Oswald's))
English as a second language, translation and cultural inclusion
Social events for pupils (for example Halloween Party)
Inclusion and support for children with additional needs
Working with school management on school based developments (for example curriculum, attainment, building and playground maintenance)
Liaising with City of Edinburgh Council (for example attendance at Locality Meetings and the CCWP)
Parent community building events and activities coordination (for example ceildh)
Active school travel (for example Safer School Streets, Crossing Patrol Guides, bicycle parking)
Liasing with local and national groups (for example Edinburgh PC Chairs, Boroughmuir Cluster Chairs, Connect and the National Parent Forum of Scotland)
Representing parental voice
Health, safety & risk
Coordinating and organising extra curricular clubs organised by the Parent Council
Transitions from nursery and into high schools (for example Boroughmuir extension status)
Governance and constitution (for example transparency of funding requests and Parent Council voting)authorisations
Child protection & safeguarding
Fundraising events and activities coordination (for example teatowels, art auction)
