Thank you for taking part in the Equality and Human Rights Commission call for evidence into racial harassment in publicly funded universities in Britain.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. You will be able to save your answers at any stage in the survey to come back to it later.

Why are we conducting this inquiry?

We are using our statutory powers to conduct a formal inquiry into racial harassment of staff and students at publicly funded universities and the routes available for effective redress.
 
This call for evidence enables us to gather evidence from a large group of people to help us better understand these issues. The information you provide will help inform our findings and recommendations for change.
 
We want to hear from university staff who have experienced, witnessed, or offered support to people experiencing racial harassment.
 
We want to understand whether you reported your experience of racial harassment and if you did, whether your report was dealt with effectively.

We also want to understand what measures could help improve how universities respond to reports of racial harassment and ensure people obtain redress for harassment they experienced.

Staff employed by universities in England, Scotland or Wales at any period from September 2015 to present day are invited to complete this survey.
