Invitation
We at Liverpool Learning Partnership (LLP) would like to invite you to take part in this survey because we are interested in your perspective and experience of the mental health needs at your school. Before you decide whether to take part, it is important that you understand why this survey is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the information that follows carefully. If you would like to ask any other questions regarding this survey, or what is expected from you, please contact Kath Fraser (kath@liverpoollearningpartnership.com).
What is the purpose of this survey and why have I been invited?
We are conducting this survey to help us better understand your views and experiences of: whole school approaches to mental health, mental health needs and support for staff and pupils, school mental health teams, parents and carers, and our forward planning at LLP. You have been invited to take part in this survey because you are listed as the Senior Mental Health Lead or Mental Health Lead at your school.
What will I be asked to do?
You are being asked to voluntarily complete this online survey that asks questions about the mental health needs and internal and external mental health support available at your school. This survey it shouldn’t take more than 15-20 minutes to complete.
At the end of this survey, you will also be asked if you are willing to be contacted by our partners Edge Hill University (EHU) to invite you to participate in a brief (approx. 30-60 minutes) follow-up interview to discuss your responses in more detail.
Do I have to take part?
No. It is up to you to decide if you want to take part. Your participation in this survey and the follow-up interviews with EHU is entirely voluntary.
What information will be collected, and how will it be stored and used?
Your consent is implied when you submit your responses. LLP will have access to information generated from the completion of this online survey. If you provide your permission below, your anonymised responses (i.e., your own and your school’s name will be removed) will also be shared with Edge Hill University (EHU) to support us with our analysis.
This information will be stored securely on a cloud storage service (e.g., Microsoft OneDrive and Smart Survey) and will be used for different purposes by LLP and EHU.
LLP will use the information you provide as part of this study to:
