Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in a primary classroom

Page 1

I am a final year student on the BA (Hons) Childhood Studies degree at University College Jersey in partnership with Plymouth University. I am undertaking a research project which aims to find out to what extent Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be utilised as an additional educator within primary education, and how it is currently perceived by children and adults.

As part of my research, I would like to gather the views of parents of primary school-age children on their understanding of AI, concerns about the use of AI and parents' views on AI's use in educational settings.

The questionnaire is completed anonymously, and no personal information or data will be required to complete it or will be collected in any way. The data from these questionnaires will be reviewed in conjunction with other data collected during this research and a report will be written up in April of next year. Access to this report can be made available should this be of interest to you. Please be advised that by submitting a completed questionnaire, you are consenting to participate in this research. If you would like any further information or have any questions, please contact either myself by email at 0439671@hc.ac.je or my supervisor Dr Sue Le Masurier at sue.lemasurier@highlands.ac.uk.
