As part of the merger between Save Shetland and Sustainable Shetland, we want to hear the views of Shetland residents about current and proposed energy developments across the islands. With proposals including further onshore and offshore wind farms, substations, pylons, subsea cabling, battery storage, ammonia production and hydrogen facilities, we believe it is important that all views are heard. Our aim is to obtain a current, comprehensive and accurate picture of public opinion across Shetland. We welcome responses from all household members aged 14 and over. The survey does not collect names, email addresses or other personal information, and responses are anonymous. Please submit your response by 6th September 2026.
