Norfolk's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Local Offer Consultation January 2015
What is the Local Offer?
Young people, parents and carers regularly say that one of their biggest issues is finding and understanding what services are available in their local area to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We also know that it can be difficult for people who work in local councils, health services and voluntary organisations to know about all the services that are available locally.
A new law says that councils must publish information about the support and services that are available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in their area. This is called the 'local offer’ and it will help both families and professionals understand more about the support available.
This is a survey for people who have used Norfolk’s Local Offer website. If you have not seen it yet, please take a look here www.norfolk.gov.uk/send
