Scotland has focused for over 10 years on improving safety and reducing harm through the Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP), a national quality improvement programme led by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
Using the learning from the previous decade, coupled with the voices of those delivering and receiving care, SPSP aims to develop a long term plan that reflects the needs of our population and system and supports continuous improvement in the safety of care delivered across Scotland.
Through participation in this survey we aim to gather views on the current programme, explore where attention should be focused over the next 3-5 years and identify what approaches would best support improvement.
The feedback received through the survey will be used to inform the development of the future SPSP plan.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.
