The Environment Agency is working in partnership with New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council, and Natural England with expert support from JBA Consulting to explore a sustainable future for the coastal frontage between Hurst Spit and Lymington in relation to flood and coastal erosion risk management.
This project aims to investigate if and how to respond to the significant challenges facing this area now and into the future.
No decisions have been made yet on how to tackle the challenges and it may be many years until any works are on the ground. However, we want to ensure your thoughts, views and ideas are incorporated as the project progresses and develops.
Your responses below will be anonymous unless you choose to provide your details at the end.
The survey will remain live until March 31st 2021.
The responses will be collated by the Hurst Spit to Lymington Project Team based at the Environment Agency’s Romsey Office. If you do have any questions regarding this questionnaire or the project please contact the Project Team on
