Tell us your views on the proposed Planning Validation Checklists following a recent review. The consultation closes on Monday 26th September.

Background:

When making a planning application, applicants must provide information that meets set national requirements. Validation Checklists set out the detailed local requirements for supporting information. The Council has to review these checklists regularly.

We have updated the current checklists as follows:

              Additional requirement for a Climate Change Statement on Major Planning Applications.
              Additional Reference to new Neighbourhood Plans
              Updated links and legislation references including fire safety
