DfE's Children Not in School Consultation - The HE Byte

0%

Welcome

This is a short survey being carried out by the HE Byte Team to try and find out if the Department for Education has followed through on a commitment it made in the the UNCRC assessment attached to the current "Children Not in School" consultation. Q4 asked, "Do you need to engage with children and young people and/or their advocates and other stakeholders to seek their views?" Acknowledging that they do need to do this, the DfE states, "The department will be attempting to encourage home educating families to involve children in the consultation process." [Emphasis added] The HE Byte Team are trying to find out if any EHE families have been approached by the DfE or a Local Authority asking them to encourage their children to respond to this survey.
