Parental Involvement and Engagement Census (PIE) - Secondary Schools

Thank you for taking part in the Parental Involvement and Engagement Census.
Parents and carers are by far the most important influence on children’s lives.  Research shows that when parents are involved in their child's learning, children do better at school and throughout their lives.  We would like to get an idea of how you feel about your child's school and to give you a chance to reflect on the partnerships you are experiencing.

Please take the time to answer the questions below, we value all of your responses and will use them to plan for our next steps in parental engagement opportunities and programmes and to inform future policy and planning in this area - in Glasgow and nationally

As well as allowing Glasgow City Council to plan at a local level we will also share your responses with the Scottish Government to help feed into national policy on parental engagement which includes the National Action Plan on Parental Engagement as well as the National Improvement Framework.

Completing the questionnaire should take no longer than 10 minutes and your answers will be kept completely confidential.

At the end of the survey you will be asked a few questions about you. These questions are not mandatory and you are not required to complete them in order to fill in the rest of the survey. However, Glasgow is a city of many cultures and we celebrate this diversity -  the information helps us to understand how all parents and families, regardless of their circumstances, view their children’s education.

Information you provide in this survey will be shared with the Scottish Government. Full details of Glasgow City Council's Parental Involvement & Engagement Census (PIE) Privacy Statement can be found online
