Please note that all incomplete applications will be deleted after each application deadline.
Please read this carefully before applying:
  1. Applicants may apply for a maximum of £2000. However, limited flexibility is available for exceptional applications. Applicants should request no more than £500 per day for their meetings.
  2. Each member can receive one grant per calendar year.
  3. Support requested should be “enabling” (i.e. the meeting could not go ahead without it) or should scientifically enhance the activity.
  4. Applicants must be a member (at any level) of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Division to which they apply. Please note, if applying for RSC membership, the higher levels have additional eligibility requirements that may extend the application process.
  5. Your meeting must occur at least eight weeks from the application deadline. We will not be able to consider applications for meetings sooner than this.
  6. The meeting should fit in with the Division’s priorities and strategy. Details are available on the Division webpages.
  7. The Division should be acknowledged should your application be successful.
  8. We will require you to complete a feedback form on the successes of the meeting, including a summary of the costs. This will be sent to you following your meeting and should be submitted within 4 weeks of the meeting.
  9. Applications should be for meetings related to scientific research and should not be predominantly commercial in nature.
  10. Applicants may only receive one grant from the RSC per activity. If you have already received funding from other RSC sources for the same activity, you must inform us immediately. This includes funding from Interest Groups.
