Interpretation and Translation Services Survey - English

1. Introduction

Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning Groups include North West Surrey CCG, Surrey Downs CCG and Guildford and Waverley CCG, which work together to buy health care services for people in their local areas. The CCGs are currently working to renew a service that will support people who need help communicating with their GP during their appointment. This may include a number of different options, for example, having an interpreter present during the appointment, helping to translate medical letters in different languages or offering information in different formats like Braille. We’d like to find out more from you about what you want to see in the service. Hearing your views will be key to ensuring we develop the right service for the local area. This short survey is one way of getting your views. Your responses and comments will be kept anonymous and strictly confidential, only used when looking into plans for the development of the service. The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete and your responses will be anonymised.
