Fundación Amigos por Siempre

Summary

Fundación Amigos por Siempre is a charity based in Santiago, Chile. Their aim is “To favour and promote the social and labour inclusion of people with cognitive disabilities, through the development of social and work skills.” They needed a tool to measure the impact of their programme on the social and personal wellness of their beneficiaries. SmartSurvey was able to provide a solution where data could be collected to evaluate the effectiveness of their program and to identify new needs.

The requirement

Like any charity, FAS operate on a tight budget and need to ensure that the work they do is effective and well-targeted. This can be a challenge when the only feedback route is direct conversations with beneficiaries and clients.

Anecdotal evidence of this sort is nearly impossible to turn into reliable, actionable, data, so another solution was needed that would allow a more data-driven approach. So, based on a recommendation from one of their work team, they approached us.

The solution

With a SmartSurvey account, Fundación Amigos por Siempre were able to supplement the face-to-face feedback with online surveys. Key to this was the suite of reporting tools, allowing results to be easily compared between participants, create graphics, and identify trends. The ease of use from the point of view of survey participants was also valuable.

The results
