We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just been shortlisted as DL100 finalists, where we will be competing to be crowned ‘Digital SME of the Year’ on 15th October. Our nomination is now open to the public vote at https://digileaders100.com/digital-sme until Friday 28th August.

Recognised for our role in digitising the data collection methods of public sector organisations

SmartSurvey’s digital technology will be highlighted in the 8th Annual Digital Leaders 100 list, under the award category recognising SME organisations that have delivered significant digital impact in their chosen sector during the last 12 months.

Our shortlisting is testament to the impact our intuitive survey software has had in helping a large part of the public sector switch from offline paper-based data collection methods to a fully secure, managed and hosted online solution. This is simplifying and hastening how these organisations are collecting and analysing their data, while helping to transform their decision-making processes.

A strong and recent example of the capabilities our platform offers for public sector organisations, can be highlighted by the work we’ve done to support the government’s live daily COBRA briefing on the Coronavirus. Since the government decided to let members of the general public take part in these briefings towards the end of April, we’ve been collecting all these questions for them, so they could select ones to answer during these sessions. The response has been huge and initially generated more than tens of thousands of responses when the service was first announced.

It’s results like these which have helped us to become the leading data collection provider for the public sector, where we currently work with 65% of central government departments and nearly a third of all UK councils. This has also been aided by our rise to prominence on the Government Digital Services (G-Cloud) framework, a specialist suppliers’ database where public sector organisations go to seek out contracts with other government certified suppliers. According to the latest G-Cloud market report, by both spend and quantity of contracts, we’re currently the number one survey platform for the public sector.

This latest national award shortlisting builds on the national recognition we’ve already received this year in being shortlisted for a customer centric organisation and two technology innovation awards. It’s a progression that SmartSurvey’s CEO, Mo Naser is extremely excited about:

“We’re delighted to have been shortlisted to the DL100 finals, which given the significant volume of entries they receive every year, is a major achievement. While it’s great to be recognised for the work we’re doing for the public sector, it’s also pleasing to see the wider recognition that our platform and support capabilities are gaining, with a growing number of award shortlisting’s and wins, both nationally and within our own industry. It’s inspiring and helps further energise us, as we work to deliver even more innovations, benefits and value for our customers.”

About the Digital Leaders 100

Each year’s list is created from nominations submitted by members of the 120,000 strong Digital Leaders Community before being shortlisted by the DL100 judges, who are often members of the Digital Leaders Advisory Board.

This year’s list is the 8th cohort to join the alumni of previous winners that now numbers over 500 leaders from Government, Enterprise, start-ups and charities. These former members stay in touch, network and learn from each other through participation in the DL100 Club.
