What's New
New Theme Editor
Editing themes to meet your design needs is now easier than ever. The new editor gives you two ways to create exactly what you need depending on your plan:
Basic Editor gets you professional results fast:
- Depending on the theme template you're editing, upload your logo, choose your primary and secondary colours and background to establish your survey’s look
- Add and adjust fonts with simple controls
- Your branded survey is ready in minutes
Advanced Editor puts you in complete control:
- Customise every survey element - from question text to answer choices
- Place your logo exactly where you want it
- Create stunning backgrounds with solid colours, gradients, images, or custom CSS
- Use custom fonts throughout your survey for maximum brand consistency
New Theme Library
Once the new Theme Editor is available in your account, you’ll also have access to a wide range of brand new, modern, user friendly themes to choose from.
You can use these themes straight out of the box or choose to edit and save your own version.
All themes are optimised for use across devices.
Accessibility for Everyone
Every survey created using a theme from the new theme library is now WCAG 2.2 compliant by default, removing the need to use our specific accessible themes, giving your respondents the most inclusive experience possible.
Improved Question Types
We've refreshed the design of existing question types (for example ranking questions) to look cleaner and work better across all devices. Plus, this foundation sets us up for exciting new question types coming soon.
Phased Rollout
Due to our customers having a wide range of existing themes we’ll be releasing the new features outlined above in stages to ensure minimal disruption to your survey activity.
Keep an eye out for emails with more specific guidance as the changes are due for release in your account over the next 4-8 weeks.

FAQs
Will my existing themes still work?
Yes — your current themes will continue to work on your existing surveys. However, new surveys created in the updated editor will use the new theme format, which means legacy themes won’t be compatible with them (and vice versa). We’ll give plenty of notice before eventually moving all customers fully over to the new version.
When will I get access?
We’ll be rolling this out gradually, starting with users who haven’t previously created custom themes. All customers will receive an email ahead of time explaining what to expect, so please double-check your account email details to make sure you don’t miss the update.
Is the old editor being retired?
Yes — once everyone has been migrated to the new version, the legacy editor will be retired. This won’t happen without clear communication and guidance ahead of time.
